LL-37

1. Draw 2cc Bacteriostatic Water USP from vial.
2. Inject the Bacteriostatic Water into LL-37 medication.
3. Gently swirl the vial around until the solution is completely clear. (Note: Do NOT shake — LL-37 is a delicate peptide and can lose potency if agitated.)
4. Once completed, this will provide a concentration of 10 mg per 2 cc and 0.5 mg per 10 units on a 100 IU insulin syringe. Note: 100 units equals 5 mg, and 200 units equals the full 10 mg vial.
5. The most commonly recommended injection sites for LL-37 are the lower abdomen or outer thigh, where subcutaneous tissue is more abundant. Rotate injection sites to minimize irritation.
6. Note: Once LL-37 is reconstituted, it must be refrigerated and used within 45–60 days.
