Cerebrolysin – 60 mg

1. Draw 3cc Bacteriostatic Water USP from vile.
2. Inject the Bacteriostatic Water into the Cerebrolysin vial.
3. Gently swirl the vial around until the solution is completely clear. (Note: Do NOT shake – Cerebrolysin is a delicate peptide and can lose potency if agitated.)
4. Once completed, this provides a concentration of 20 mg per mL (60 mg per 3 mL).
5. Cerebrolysin is typically administered by IV infusion or IM injection using a 3 mL syringe and a 23G IM needle (not an insulin syringe).
6. The most commonly recommended IM injection sites are the side of the hip and upper glute area. Rotate injection sites to minimize irritation.
7. Storage: Store unopened vials below 20°C. Once mixed, use immediately. Do not refrigerate or store for later use.
