Mixing Instructions for HMG - 75 IU
- Draw 2cc Bacteriostatic Water USP from vile.
- Inject the Bacteriostatic Water into the HMG vial.
- Gently swirl the vial around until the solution is completely clear. (Note: Do NOT shake — HMG is a delicate peptide and can lose potency if agitated.)
- Once completed this will provide you with a concentration of 75 IU per/1cc and 3.75 IU per 10 units on the insulin needle. Note: 100 units would equate to 37.5 IU, and 200 units would equate to the total 75 IU.
- HMG may be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly, depending on protocol preference. Rotate injection sites to minimize irritation.
- Note: Once HMG is reconstituted, it must be refrigerate and used within 30–45 days.
